Hello Louis,
you got hold of a really beautiful piece. This "flame grain" is beautiful and the application towards the mouthpiece looks interesting and rounds off the overall picture. Not to mention the "Birdeyes". I am sure she will find other admirers.

Hola Luis,
as an Italophile if it is about pipes …an some other things…, I can only say „Congratulazione“
Very nice pipe indeed with a beautiful grain pattern.
Curious about the tobacco you will smoke in it…
Happy puffing,
Rainer

So am I, Rainer!! Maybe Straight Va? That would be a good choice!
But in the end I can resist the temptation to taste Latakia with each one of them

Difficult to tell... maybe olive wood?

Perhaps Zebrano?

Hola,
I‘agree to Zebrano too… Olive wood generally has more swirl…and so…
@ Phil… why is that important? Just looks nice…good enough…
Louis, enjoy,
Rainer
