Istambul

Hi fellows!!

I’m going expend a few weeks in Istambul and obviously I would like to explore the possibilities for a pipe smoker. So if anyone has some tips or advices I will be more than grateful.
- Anyone knows where to find meerschaum pipes?
- Anyone knows if it is possible and where to find oriental tobacco not tinned but in bulk?

Hi everyone!!!

I let here the link to a great great pipe store here in Istambul. Just in case. I guess that the great colectors could know it but for those who don’t here rest.
It’s huge and have local and import brands. They offer their own brand.

It’s a family store. Fourth generation now ruled by the sons and the grandsons. They very welcoming and chatty. You can smoke a pipe and drink tea for as long as you want without being in a hurry while you decide your purchase. Furkan -one of the sons- was so kind and generous.
I bought my two first meerschaums. I don’t let the pics because I’m on the cell phone and don’t want to let a monster pic. Both are Yunar Pipo.
